About Marina Cycle Amsterdam

My name is Marina Vlasman.

I am born in Amsterdam and love bicycles. 

As a kid age 4 years old I got my first bike.

At age 10 years my father learnt me how to fix a flat tire.

My first bike road trip abroad age 14 years was with my sister and mother in 1982 through Ireland on a 1 gear omafiets.

I am graduated as a building engineer but working with bikes was more interesting for me.

Since 2001 I worked in bike shops in Amsterdam, to repair bicycle for the locals and rent & give advise for tourist.

I decided to start my own company “Marina Cycle Amsterdam”  for renting long distance touring bikes with 21 gears in 2025.
